School is in session!
Rock & Roll Prep is a performance based academy focused on all levels of aspiring musicians ages 2 – 18. Our mission is to provide an energetic, non-intimidating and creative atmosphere where kids can express themselves through music. Our focus is to build self esteem and confidence by working with peers and professionals in the music industry.
Curriculum
ROCKERS (middle school – high school age)
ROLLERS (Elementary, 1st – 5th grade)
PREPSTERS - (Rockers & Rollers welcome) This acoustic/songwriters class will give students an opportunity to explore their own writing, as well as the chance to cover some student and teacher choosen tunes.
Rockers, Rollers & Prepsters meet once a week for three hour group rehearsals. Individually, they have their 45 minute lesson, which is also once a week. At the end of each four month semester, they perform at a local venue!
ROCK TOTS (2 – 5) - An interactive 45 minute class for the little ones to discover their love for music.
LESSONS ONLY - Lessons Only – We offer 45 minute lessons. For our younger students, we do recommend 30 minute lessons.
ROCK & ROLL YOGA - Fun music plays during this hour long class for all levels & ages! Complimentary for our students/fee for guests
The first Friday of every month, we offer a 2 to 3 hour workshop or event at the school. Complimentary for our students/fee for guests
SUMMER CAMPS
ROLLERS (Elementary, 1st – 5th grade) 9am – 12pm
ROCKERS (middle school – high school age) 1pm – 4pm
The weeks of :
June 24th – 28th will focus on music of the 60′s
July 15th – 19th will focus on music of the 70′s
August 12th – 16th will focus on music of the 80′s
Each week will also emphasize song writing, performance, marketing, & recording – basically, all of the fun parts of being in a band!
Even if you have never played before, you will be playing songs by the end of the week!
Cost: 150/week
